Maintenance Fitter - $60ph

Maintenance Fitter | $60/hr | Wetherill Park | Immediate Start

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a manufacturing facility in Wetherill Park on day shift, Monday to Friday. This is a highly autonomous role suited to a tradesperson who can take ownership of plant reliability and confidently manage maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.

This position offers strong pay, stability and an immediate start within a well established production environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and safe, efficient plant operation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Breakdown response and fault finding on manufacturing equipment
• Preventative maintenance and plant servicing
• Mechanical diagnostics and repairs on production machinery
• Identifying reliability improvements and supporting plant upgrades
• Working independently to manage daily maintenance priorities
• Maintaining strong safety and quality standards on site

About You

To be considered, you must have:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Minimum 5 years post trade experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong fault finding and problem solving ability
• Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload
• Full Australian working rights
• Reliable transport to Wetherill Park
